Free Family Fun Day at Manchester Food and Drink Festival at Albert Square Hub

Families and cute little ones will get a chance to enjoy a free family fun day held at the Manchester Food & Drink Festival which is running from September 27 to October 8, 2018. The event has been hosted by MFDF as a part of their 21st Anniversary celebrations. The family fun day will be held at Albert Square Hub, Manchester M2 5DB between 12 noon to 5 pm.

Though there will be many activities on all 12 days, one day is specially dedicated to families and kids with lots of free activities and workshops.

Starting with the performance by Morning Gloryville team, which is a dance party and the team will take over the dome from 12.30 pm for entire day and it is a great chance for families to shake their glow sticks and dance the way as they like. The team will also bring face painting, glitter station, hoola hoop performers and massage, reiki & yoga to the festival hub. All you can find there a fresh juice bar where you can taste for free.

Shake Rattle and Roll of Brighter Sound will take over the Festival Hub. It is a music making event of music, dance & fun along with their experienced and child centred musicians taking up the songs of Beth Bishop and old favourites. Kids and grown up will get an opportunity to try out some instruments and make wonderful music in two sessions at 1.30 pm and 3.30 pm on the day. This is free but will be served on first come first serve basis.

Clint Boon, a musician/ presenter & DJ, will be hosting an indie disco in the Manchester Beer Bar. You can also find many circus performers including jugglers and stilt walkers around the festival square.

You can taste organic coffee from Manchester Coffee and Federal. Facilities are made for dress changing and feeding and also available baby products’ samples. Family friendly little pick will be hosted by Quorn who helps to clean the festival area as a part of Recycle week.

Along with these activities, there are plenty of child liking food for their taste such as Nutella crepes, pasta, pizza and ice creams will be served at Ginger’s Comform Emporium van.
