To mark the celebrations of 30th Anniversary of Dunmail Park, there has been a free family event on September 15, 2018 organised and held at the shopping centre located at Maryport Road, CA14 1NQ Workington. The shopping centre is hosting “Every 30” event to celebrate its 30th anniversary and inviting the local community for a party. The event will run between 11 am to 3 pm on the day.
Balloon Modellers:
There will be a balloon modeller available in the shopping centre and organising a game for the visitors to the shopping centre where they can take part in passing the parcel game to win exciting prizes.
Characters of popular Kids TV show
The shoppers can meet a member of “the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, the crime fighting quartet and famous kids TV show in the year 1988. They will greet the visitors of the shopping centre.
Fun Fashion Challenge
The shopping centre is organising a Fun Fashion Challenge which involves a competition of wearing 1980’s clothing style to compete with each other and finding a hidden word with Anagram Rush. Winners will be given with cinema vouchers and cup cakes.
Music & Fun
You can also enjoy in the event with 80s music and fun games and prizes for the winners hosted by CFM.
Golden Ticket Balloons
At last at 2.30 pm, there will be a event of balloons collecting. There will be lots of balloons dropped in the shopping centre and the visitors should search for and collect 10 balloons with golden ticket inside them. Those collected can exchange it for £30.
