Eye Test for kidsKids on a visit to Nottingham from the region that was badly affected by the Chernobyl tragedy were provided with Eye tests free of cost.

It was the store known as Specsavers located in Wheeler Gate that devoted a centre for eye care to the fifteen kids and their caretakers who visited Nottingham offering free eye tests and care as a part of a tour to the United Kingdom that was sponsored by the charity organization Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline.

Simon Dunn the Director of the store stated that they had been jointly functioning with the organization for some time now and that they were always thrilled when they had kids visiting their store.

Mr. Simon Dunn also happened to mention that they were really fortunate that they had two members among their employees who could converse to the children in the Russian language making them feel at ease in a new place.

He explained that the eye tests were the beginning of the children’s month long health tour to Nottingham. He also added that the four week duration allowed the store time to place orders and ensure that all the children were fixed up with the appropriate eye glasses before they left the place to get back to their homes.
