Free exhibition and activities by AniMotion

A unique exhibition about animation, starts at The Civic, Barnsley, that will interest all in the family. The exhibition by AniMotion, the animation experts, will open a magical world created by some of the most imaginative artists and animators of UK. The exhibition in the Civic Gallery is open from Saturday (23 January) to 26 March, open from Tuesday to Saturday.

Alongside the display featuring Morph of Aardman Animations, are a series of Animation Stations, where visitors can experiment using software and props provided. The exhibition shows work of other commissioned artist in animation techniques. Aardmans Animations are creators of Shaun the Sheep, Wallace and Gromit. Find here Wing-Face Anima by Chris Squires. The AniMotion exhibition also offers children from 6 to 13 years, a series of workshops in the school holidays in February and March.
