The festival dates for the 24th annual Keswick Jazz Festival 2015, has been announced. The festival next year will take place from 7th May, Thursday, to 10th May, Sunday. Venues across Keswick in Cumbria to be involved in the celebrations include the Rawnsley Centre, Crow Park’s Theatre Marquee and also the venues of Theatre by the Lake.
On 8th May, Saturday, the popular parade of the Jazz Festival will be held, where everyone is welcome. As musicians and dancers joyfully serenade the town starting from the Market Square, right up to the Derwentwater foreshore, everyone are free to join in. A number of free events will also be taking place across the weekend, dates of which will be released afterwards.
The Keswick Jazz Festival has built a reputation over the years, to become the top celebration of jazz in UK. Local and international acts in huge numbers perform each year at the event. Many new names are also featuring at next year’s festival.
