June 2nd, 2016 by Sandy

The International Festival for Business 2016 (IFB2016) is a festival in Liverpool that offers something for people from all walks of life and not just for official delegates. Jane Kelly, the creative director of the festival, also well known in the arts and culture world of UK, said the free events form part of the programme which starts on 1st June and runs for 3 weeks.

The event will see 30,000 delegates coming from both Britain and from across the world, to attend 80 events and conferences being staged at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool. However, there are free events open to all, to make the festival more inclusive. A series of cultural and artistic events, called The Edge, which is the IFB Fringe, will be held around Liverpool, running parallel to IFB2016. The creative director and team have organised ‘Blue Skies’, a series of free sessions, that has pulled in high-profile speakers like Sir Martin Sorell and FW de Clerk. Places can be booked for free by joining the IFB2016 Business Club.
