London borough of Harrow will be hosting free events to celebrate National Storytelling Week. Family Storytelling will be held in the Pinner Library on Marsh Lane, on 30th January (Sunday), from 11am to 11.45am. The event is open to all ages and audience are encouraged to bring their own story to tell.
Another event Storytelling and Spoken Word for Grown Ups, will be held on 3rd February (Wednesday), between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm, at West House, Pinner Memorial Park. £3 will be collected for the charity William Health Robinson Trust. The last session is a free event called Winter Tales for Families. This will be held on 6th February (Saturday) from 2:00pm to 2:45pm at the Eastcote House Gardens of Eastcote Village.
The programme has been made up by Pippa Reid, Greg McCormick and Claudia Mernick for both old and young audiences. To promote storytelling across the community, the event of National Storytelling Week was started some 16 years back.
