There will be plenty of free events happening in this Christmas celebrations in and around Wales.
Elves’ workshop
There will be free workshops on Christmas decorations on December 10, 11, 17, 18, 19 & 20 held between 10.30 am to 2.30 pm. You can get trained to make decorations for your christmas tree to take along with you at Bodnant Garden, Bodnant Rd, Tal-y-cafn, Colwyn Bay LL28 5RE.
Christmas singalong
On Wednesday – December 14, 2018, there will be singalong performance at 6 pm where you can sing a mix of Christmas songs and carols at National Waterfront Museum, Swansea, along with Alun Guy and Leighton Sault-Jones. Ysgol Gymraeg Bryn y Môr choir will do a half a time performance.
Carols at the museum
There will be a Carols on Thursday – December 15, 2018 held at National Museum Cardiff, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NP at 3 pm. You can enjoy this christmas eve with joyous songs, mince pies and mulled wine.
Lantern parade
There will be a lantern parade as a part of Llanberis’ annual Christmas fair and the parade will take place on Thursday – December 15, 2018 from Pete’s Eats to the Heights in High Street, Llanberis between 6.30 pm to 9 pm.
Free movie screening
There will be a free screening of movie “The Nightmare Before Christmas” in National Waterfront Museum, Oystermouth Rd, Swansea SA1 3RD for this Christmas on Sunday – December 18, 2018 at 2.30 pm.
Get arty
There will be free art classes for families at this christmas holidays at National Museum Cardiff which will be held from December 17 to December 31, 2018 excluding Dec 19 & Dec 24-27. These are linked with the Artes Mundi international exhibition.
Free Carol concert
There will be a Carol Concert on Wednesday – December 21, 2018 at the Glanfa Stage, Wales Millennium Centre, Bute Pl, Cardiff Bay CF10 5AL at 5.45 pm. The concert is being hosted by City Voices Cardiff and they will be entertaining the visitors to bring a festive mood with their songs. You can also enjoy the festive treats of mince pies and mulled wine.
Yuletide exhibition
Various galleries in the country are keeping open on this Christmas and winter exhibitions for free. It includes Albany Gallery & Martin Tinney Gallery in Cardiff, Attic Gallery in Swansea, Oriel Tegfryn on Anglesey and Fountain Fine Art in Llandeilo.
