There will be various free events happening in and around London this week.

Early Photography – free lunchtime lecture
There will be a free event of lunch time lecture on Wednesday – March 20, 2019 at V&A Museum, Hochhauser Auditorium, Sackler Centre, Victoria & Albert Museum, Cromwell Road, London, SW7 2RL held between 1 pm to 1.45 pm.

The lecture will explain about the sources of the photography collection of pre-1977 at the museum and its benefits. Join the Curator – Ella Ravilious on Documentation and Digitisation and meet the current PhD student. It is free event and just turn up. Hot Flushes – free session for women 
There will be a free event on March 20, 2019 organised by the Royal College of Nursing at 20 Cavendish Square, Marylebone, London, W1G ORN. This is a free session on the effects of menopause on women in the past and present. You can come to know the difference between myth and truth, know more about the role that nursing in the menopause today and support for them in workplace. Aristocratic Houses – free lecture
There will be a free lecture session on March 20, 2019 at Museum of London, 150 London Wall, London EC2Y 5HN held between 6 pm to 7 pm. This free session shows how the families in the 16th century had utilized their wealth in both town and country residence buildings. Cruelty to Animals – free talk
Please join Joanna Burke – the Historian and academic Professor on Thursday – March 21, 2019 at Barnard’s Inn Hall, Holborn, London EC1N 2HH between 6 pm to 7 pm for a free talk. New Londoners – Photography exhibition
There will be free entry to the photography exhibition “New Londoners” from March 22, 2019 to July 7, 2019 running at Second Floor Gallery, The British Library, 96 Euston Road, London NW1 2DB. You can find the photographs of Photographer Chris Steele-Perkins’ project and showing the families who came from other countries to and living in London. War Widows – free talk
There will be a free session on March 22, 2019 at National Army Museum Royal Hospital Rd, Chelsea, London SW3 4HT held at 11.30 am. Chairman of the War Widows Association – Mary Moreland will talk about the charity’s history and its role on promoting equality for all war widows in Great Britain.
