The Classic Boat Festival is an annual event celebrated with the presence of wonderful vintage boats from September 7 to 9, 2018 as a part of Totally Thames 2018 celebrations which runs from 1 to 30th September. This year celebrations will be bigger as the festival is turning up for its 10th year where you can find 40 colourful vintage and motor boats around the world. The beautiful boats will be sailing at St. Katharine Docks, 50 St. Katharines Way E1W 1LA. The festival will run on September 7 from 12 noon to 6 pm and on September 8 & 9 from 10.30 am to 6 pm.
Along with free entry to see the vintage boats, there will also be available at St Katharine Docks with wonderful programmes of various river related events taking place along the 42 miles of Thames, food and drink stalls, various other stalls and children’s activities which makes the festival more enjoyable for the visitors. Even you can get an opportunity to speak to the boat owners and get on board and enjoy.

Tour on Lady Daphne River:
You can get on board of the Thames Sailing Barge Lady Daphne boat and enjoy the tour on the thames where you will be taken under the most famous Tower bridge. This is a ticketed event and given at a special price of £22 for adults & for kids £15 which can be bought online.
Moo Canoes:
There will be a free taster session on Kayaking which you can enjoy along with Moo Canoes team with full safety.
The Whale Company:
The Whale Company is coming back to St. Katharine Docks where they are organising Bottle Board workshops and you can help them in building a Stand-Up Paddle board using plastic bottles. The events are only on Saturday and Sunday.
Sharky & George:
Upon the success of S&G’s big hit in the last year, they are hosting various themed games & activities to mark the celebration of our 190 years history. Join the fun activities and get a chance to win a prize. The events are running only on Saturday and Sunday.
MYO:
There will be taking place various free workshops which includes lino cutting, coaster weaving and printing on tea towels etc. The events are running on Saturday & Sunday only.
National Youth Jazz Orchestra:
On Sunday – September 9, you can enjoy the wonderful live music from jazz orchestra.
