Free events for children

At Central Library

Scott Polar Research Institute along with The Polar Museum will conduct a free midwinter monster storytelling session at the Cambridge Central Library on 21 December (Saturday). The session is mainly aimed at children in the age group of four to eight and is scheduled to take place from 11.30am-12pm.

Craft activity will be held in the Children’s Library. Parents and carers are requested to accompany the children. No booking is essential for this free event.

 

At the Jet Age Museum

Gloucestershire Age Museum will conduct a free family event for young aircraft enthusiasts. Demonstration of a model making will be held during the event. Children can sit in a real jet fighter cockpit, and experience Vulcan bomber tours. Colouring competition and treasure hunt are some of the activities that will be held during the event.

The free event will be held from 10am to 4pm at the Jet Age Museum at Gloucestershire Airport.

 

At Bromley Cross Library

A free Christmas themed event will be held for toddlers in the age group of two to four. The event will be held for young readers at Bromley Cross Library from 2pm and 3pm on 19 December (Thursday). No pre-booking is required to attend this free event.
