Free Christmas carol event
Go North East, a large bus-operator, is celebrating its centenary year and as part of the celebrations is hosting a free Christmas carol. The free event will have participation of the Reg Vardy Brass Band. The Kells Lane Primary School Choir will also perform. It is to be held at the Angel of the North Gateshead, at 2pm, on 8 December, a Sunday.
Pre-Schoolers’ Christmas Event
Pre-school children and their families will participate in the morning of 8 December, on Wednesday, at 10am, at the Chesham Methodist Church, Bellingdon Road. The free event will include song-time, the story of Christmas, festive crafts and refreshments. It would be repeated into 2014 on 22 February, 26 February, 26 March and 23 April.
Free event for Christmas at Brackenborough Hotel
Brackenborough Hotel will be holding a free Christmas event for the local community. There will be carol singing, swithcing on of Christmas lights by Arran Brindle, and of course Santa will appear here with gifts for children. There will be refreshments too at the free event.
