Free events at Sussex’s villages

1. Free entry to Cuckfield Craft & Vintage Market at Cuckfield, West Sussex

There is free entry to the Cuckfield Craft & Vintage Market on Friday – July 6, 2018 which will be arranged at The Queen’s Hall, High Street, Cuckfield, West Sussex RH17 5EL from 9.30 am to 1 pm.

Earlier years Cuckfield had a Craft market every month with variety of stalls and things until 2015. But it got stopped from 2016 as there was no one come up to show interest. But now a good news is that again this year Craft and Vintage Market pops up at the Queen’s Hall and the first market was held on 21st April 2018. Followed by the spring, now the summer Craft and Vintage Markets will be taken place on four dates – 6th July, 21st September, 19th October and the last one on 23rd November of this year.

The Markets will have all local crafts and produces, vintage homeware, variety of stalls, plants, home made produces, Books stalls for Children, Flamingo Paperie selling cards & stationary, handbags, Fernie’s choice for plants, dogs, glass arts, crafts and many more. 2. Free Taster on games at Lewes’ Town Hall, East Sussex

There will be a free taster session of games held by Lewes Bridge Club for the beginners on Saturday – July 7, 2018 at the Town Hall’s Lecture Room located at Lewes Town Hall, High Street, Lewes, BN7 2DQ, East Sussex. The taster will run from 10 am until 12 noon. This is organised to make the beginners to learn gaming easily with a simplified version. Interested can come and participate in the game with a coffee and cake. There is no previous knowledge required.

3. Free entry to Music event on Wivelsfield Village Day at Wivelsfield, East Sussex

There is free entry to Wivelsfield Village Day, turning its 10th year celebrations, which will be celebrated on Saturday – July 14, 2018 at the Wivelsfield Village Hall and Recreation Ground. The day will begin from 10.30 am and run till 5 pm. All are being invited to visit and enjoy a day with more of fun and can find variety of stalls, attractions, many events etc. Miniature railway, traditional fair ground, archery, kids races, falconry displays and more fun will be part on the day’s celebrations. As a part of the Village Day celebrations, you can also enjoy a free live music event named “ON THE GREEN”, upon its success in the last year held for first time, coming to this year also. The organiser team is inviting all to bring your family and friends along with chairs, picnic blankets and join along with music & dance. The event covers the performances of The Daggers, Fred Clark, Submariner, Deja Entendu, Sand and Stone & Holly Fiddes and music starts from 4 pm and last till 10 pm at Wivelsfield Village Hall, Eastern Road, Wivelsfield Green, RH17 7QG.
