The popular Food and Drink Festival is returning to Paisley and bigger this time, this April. For the first time the free festival will be held across 2 days, on 27th April (Friday) and 28th April (Saturday), at the iconic Abbey Close in Paisley. Visitors will find the very best producers of Scotland showcasing their wares, with food vendors and tasting sessions, also interactive workshops and live music, plus the largest real ale festival of Scotland.
The award winning Pitt Street Food Market is coming to this food festival for the first time. So, find some of best of Scotland’s street-food vendors, like Barnacles & Bones, a speciality meat shellfish vendor, will be here. The Creman Caravan, Hrajuku-Kitchen and The Buffalo Truck will be also participants.
Visitors will also find a portion for children, plus a range of vegan and veggie options, besides gluten-free and halal foods. They can sample small batch gins, a range of craft beers and prosecco. Visitors will find great products at the Farmer’s Market. There will be cooking demonstrations with a celebrity chef and food-fun experiences for kids.
Paisley’s Real Ale Festival will run alongside from 25th to 28th April. The food festival is a grand showcase of the street food of Scotland. Children will be kept entertained with a selection of free workshops and also entertainment. There will be giant lawn games and live music, to make a great day out.
