Sheffield’s Tramlines festival runs an annual programme of free events and this year it will be held at the Peace Garden on the next coming weekend of Saturday which is on 25th July.. The free event has the support of the city town council and sponsors, but Sheffield’s Tramlines festival is planning to form its own charity to protect the future of Sheffield’s community activities.
This year’s free events include the performance of Papa Al, Jungle Lion and Gordon Masiala on Saturday. While on Sunday (26 July), young dancers and musicians will take to the stage, getting the great opportunity to perform. Street food will be served up by traders in the gardens, which includes Smoke Barbecue. For the visitors to the festival, traders will be hosting a bucking bronco ride. Fun rides, a bar and a stage will be set up in Fargate. The National Fairground Archive will support performances, at Barker’s Pool, of street theatre artists.
