University Women in the Arts has announced a free event to be held on 2nd March, from 3pm to 8pm. The day-long event is part of the International Women’s Day, an event offering female students, wishing to work in the arts scene in Britain, a chance to get advice from some of the leading women in the arts in the country.
The event is supported by WhatsonStage and Women’s Equality Party. A partnership between Writers at Work Products, the MA Dramatic Writing at Drama Centre London, the Women of the Future programme in association with Tonic Theatre, runs University Women in the Arts.
The event will see speakers from Women of the Future Programme, founder Pinky Lilani, the MA Dramatic Writing at Drama Centre London at Central Saint Martins, the Director of University Women in the Arts, Jennifer Tuckett and a speaker from the Women’s Equality Party, plus others.
