Free event on how to manage Type 2 Diabetes in Weymouth

One of the leading charities – Diabetes UK has organized for a free event on managing Type 2 Diabetes on Wednesday – March 13, 2019 at the Best Western Hotel Rembrandt, 12-18 Dorchester Road, Weymouth DT4 7JU. The event will run from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.

The event will help those suffering with Type 2 Diabetes on how to manage their condition still better. The Diabetes UK arranges for a free event to mark The Living with Diabetes Day. It is a great opportunity for people to take part in the workshops and they can meet podiatrist, specialist nurse and dietician on the day. The participants will get latest information and can clarify all their queries in their mind with the experts.

The event is focused on people residing the area with diabetes and provide them with the complete information they require say on following a healthy diet, caring their feet and complete health & well-being of their health. They can interact with others having diabetes also.

Diabetes UK’s South-West Improving Care Manager – Matt Robert said that as per the data, people with diabetes are spending on an average 3 hours in a year in meeting a healthcare professional. But actually it is very important for them to take care of them regularly. If diabetes is not in control, it will lead to severe health issues such as stroke, kidney failure, blindness and lower limb amputation. But the thing is that there are many things you can do on yourself to take care of your health in managing Diabetes and the event will be helpful in bringing awareness on the same. This event is mainly for those with Type 2 diabetes.
