The famous BBC presenter Kate Bliss will be visiting the market on the day and offering free valuation of your antiques. The market is located at Harborough Market, Northampton Road, Market Harborough, Leicestershire LE16 9HB.
Harborough Market is having its 800 years old traditional value. It is located at the centre of the town and offers the visitors a different shopping experience. You can get everything at this market. Having more than 60 stalls and the market is specialized in offering in their Food Hall with cake stall, sweet stall, butcher, fishmonger, cheese monger and also latest trending fashion, jewellery, gifts, pet supplies, furniture in the General Hall.
You can find various additional pop up stalls selling soap, belts, records, laptops, furniture etc in their general hall on every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and Vintage, Retro, Collectables Market on Wednesday. There will be Craft Market on Thursday and on Sunday with Antiques Market.
The market will be open from 8 am to 5 pm from Tuesday to Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday. There will also be a farmer’s market on first Thursday and food fair on third Thursday at the market square.
On March 3, the celebrity and Antiques Specialist Kate Bliss will be available at the antiques market between 11 am to 2 pm and she will help you in valuing your antiques and tell some history of your things for free. She is famous for her programme on BBC Bargain Hunt and Flog it and she also participated in the Antiques Road Trip and Secret Dealers. She will value the antiques for free on first come first served basis.
Leader of Harborough District Council – Councillor Neil Bannister said that they feel delighted on the visit of Kate Bliss at the council’s famous Harborough Market. They also hope that the residents of the area will come along and make use of the day with her. Kate visited this market in the year 2015 at an shoppers event in getting their treasured possessions valued.
Kate Bliss said that she is delighted to be coming back to the Harborough Market and looking forward to find out some treasures available with the local residents.
