There has been a free event organized on Monday – April 8, 2019 at Bishop Auckland Town Hall, Market Place, Bishop Auckland DL14 7NP. The free breakfast event will run from 8.30 am to 10.30 am and the business owners in Bishop Auckland, Shildon and Spennymoor are welcome to the event.
The event is aimed to give the businesses a boost and has been organized by Helen Goodman – MP of Bishop Auckland along with a card processing company. Square offers the small businesses to take up digital payments along a free card reader & free processing credit on first £1,000 transactions.
The session will have advice to the participants on their business promotions to get more potential customers and offer the tools which are required to accept card payments. A session on digital marketing with presentations by various business people will take place for 30 minutes and will explain on how acceptance of card payments with Square has supported in growth of their businesses.
Sam & Chris Barrons, the owners of Man Cave Barbershop in Bishop Auckland said that it was very easy set up and it is now easily used by their customers by using card. It also helps to track their sales.
Ms Goodman said that till now, more than 40 businesses have signed up to this scheme and got positive feedback. He is encouraging all who wants to use card payment system in this event.

The card payment scheme is open to all businesses located in Bishop Auckland, Shildon and Spennymoor postcode.
