The Winter Gathering has dropped the entry fee and visitors whenever coming to the London Road Fire Station, are allowed entry completely free. The historic building in Manchester, England, that started off as fire-station way back in1906, has an interesting social history as a mixed use municipal building. The iconic building leads the way for Yuletide celebrations of the city, all in the run-up to Christmas in full swing, hosting a boutique Christmas Market, street-food vendors and even its own ice rink. The building has now free entry, waiving the £5 fee.
The Winter Gathering festival will also feature a pop-up art gallery, will host after hours parties, charged with a programme of live music and DJ sets. Added to numerous Christmas activities, will be wonderful performances of acclaimed international artists. The Winter Gathering has a great line-up starting from 24th November, making its way with acts on a series of dates, right up to 24th December.
