Free entry to two attractions at Lake District for Easter

There have been “Teddies Go Free” event running at two of the attractions in the UK. The Teddies Go Free event has been running from March 30 to April 22, 2019 one at Ullswater ‘Steamers and other one at Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway on the occasion of Easter celebrations. Hence kids with their teddies can go for free along one fully paid adult ticket.

Children aged between 5 to 15 years travel for free in these two attractions. The event is in its 6th year and a great chance for kids to enjoy this spring riding on train or boat.

Ullswater ‘Steamers’ at The Pier House, Glenridding, Cumbria CA11 0US is running over 150 years by operating cruises on the beautiful lake in England and it is an award winning environmentally accredited Lake District attraction. Kids loving Teddies Go Free and teddy trail have come back once again to locate all the bears. Kids can pick up the teddy sheet from Glenridding and travel with their teddies in the teddy trail in the Ullswater Way from Glenridding to Aira Force along with adult Cruise All Piers pass. The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway at Ravenglass, Cumbria, CA18 1SW is one of the oldest and longest narrow gauge railways in England and best known as La’al Ratty. They operate heritage steam engine to transport passengers. The children with a teddy can travel for free in the train along with an adult All Stations ticket where they can enjoy a teddy bear picnic and travel in teddy trail to find out onsite museum. Lisa Braithwaite from Lake District Estates said that it is really a fun day out for kids to have a nice trip along with their favourite teddies on a train or boat. The event will help the kids to go outside home and enjoy the landscape in the Lake District.
