Are you interested in environment and wildlife? There has been free events organised on Saturday – November 24 & Sunday – November 25, 2018 by RSPB Pullborough Brooks.

They organise for an annual free event to allow the visitors to their wildlife reserve where they will be encouraged to find and celebrate the winter at the wildlife reserve. This event is very popular among the visitors as it enables the participants to find the distance of nature trails and do their creative gifts in wildlife based workshops. And this year children can enjoy with working on winter energy with wild play equipment and they can get warm with hot chocolate and taste a cake in the cafe.

Visitor Experience Officer – Emily Summers said that the RSPB are interested in helping the participants to see more of the winter wildlife beyond robins and fungi. The Pulborough Brooks reserve gets special attention and protection during the winter, as it becomes the home to Widgeion, lapwing and other wading birds. You can find wonderful views of birds take off and fly in the sky. You will also see Stoats & mice searching for food. You can also see to these sights by taking part in guided walks organised between 1.30 pm to 3 pm on two days for which you just need to pay £4 per person. You will be led by an expert volunteer group and offered hot chocolate to warm up.

There will also be available various master classes of ‘Inspired by Wildlife’ where you will be given training to do your own wildlife inspired stamp, print your own Christmas wrapping paper or wildlife based drawings. This will cost from £20 to £40 per person. You need to book in advance.

The event is funded by the players of the People’s Postcode Lottery which is an EU-funded rural grant programme. As it is accessible to the children also, they can enjoy the wildlife in this winter and learn more about wildlife and nature.
