There will be free entry to RSPB Saltholme this January month as a part of their programme and also its annual event of “Yarn Bombing”. You can find unusual creatures along with the usual bird attractions. The attraction is located at Saltholme in Seaton Carew Road, Stockton-on-Tees and is open from 9.30 am to 4 pm.
The visitors can find some knitted birds which are made by volunteers along with the real birds at the reserve near Stockton-on-Tees and also find new farm & zoo animals, including mini dinosaurs and cartoon characters.
The visitors can enjoy various knitted artworks through out the reserve and other features of the programme are trails, outdoor play areas and indoor crafts.
Saltholme’s Visitor Experience Manager – Aimee Lee said that everyone here is enjoying the event – Yarn Bombing which a complete Volunteers work. All are awaiting to see the new additions every year and by spotting the artworks, the visitors can take advantage of the free entry in January to see entire reserve. The new year will be a good start up for all to keep their health goals and the reserve is the right place to improve your fitness with a walk.
