April 3rd, 2018 by Sandy

Coreo Cymru and Bombastic are the Cardiff-based organisations touring this Easter the theatres across Wales. A day of dace will be hosted by three dance companies, joining local groups, namely Jukebox Collective, Gary and Pel and Bombastic. The free event is suitable for all ages. Audio described shows will be accompanying touch tours in English and Welsh, that make the shows suitable for those visually impaired too.

The event was set up in 2017, by Creative Producer Carol Blade, of Coreo Cymru, who said these events give the chance to dance alongside professionals and that dance is enjoyed by all, whether old or young. Bombastic offers children aged 4 to 11, fairytale fun, whereas Gary and Pel offer slapstick comedy and Jukebox Collective offer street dance.

The performances will be at torch Theatre, Milford Haven, on 6th April (Friday), at 12noon, 2pm and 4pm. The 2pm show will have Welsh audio descriptions runningh alongside, whereas the 4pm show will have English descriptions. A short free workshop just after the shows, offers a chance to dance.
