The go:cycling Cyclefest will be attracting cyclists from all over Calderdale area to the Wellholme Park in Brighouse, which will be held on 12th September, from 12noon to 5:00pm. During this summer, cycling festivals have taken place throughout West Yorkshire. The programme aims to promote cycling amongst people, of all ages, to make them participate in a host of fun and interactive elements, plus give valuable advice on maintenance, whether they be regulars or novices to cycling.
Both adults and teenagers having interest in cycle mechanics, can sign-up to a learn and build workshop of 30 minutes, being hosted by Cycling School. Participants can obtain local cycle information, including maps from the go:cycling marquee, besides seeing the stalls set-up by local cycling clubs and exhibitors. The go:cycling Cyclefest will treat visitors to 3 exciting trial bike stunt displays all through the day, allow them to try out a range of adapted cycles, bling bikes with accessories and partake in a fun ride circling Wellholme Park.
