The mass participation event, Om Yoga Show, is a two-day event, the first mass event dedicated to yoga in Scotland. It will be held on 2nd and 3rd April, at the SECC in Glasgow. The event gives both beginners and devotees in thousands, the chance to practice with experts. The 2-day show will showcase exhibitors with everything you would need for the practice of yoga, such as, mats, clothing, accessories and retreats.
The show will also have a dedicated yoga studio for children, with specifically qualified teachers in children’s yoga, leading free classes for all, from toddlers to teenagers, all through the day. There will also be an inflatable hot yoga pod, for people to try out the latest exercise, set up and heated to 37° Celsius. To find out about yoga and its benefits, parents coming can bring children along, as they are admitted free to the show. The event has open free classes and in-depth workshops with leading teachers like Finlay Wilson, the Scots yoga teacher, Celest Pereira and Yogi Ashokananda. Thanks to celebrity devotees the exercise has never been so popular.
