December 2nd, 2013 by Sandy

Free Christmas activities will be held at the Ryedale Folk Museum during the weekend. The event is scheduled to be held on December 7th and 8th between 10am and 3:30pm in the museum near Helmsley in Hutton-le-Hole.

Families attending the event get a chance to decorate biscuits, make a min rag rug flower, print Christmas cards and more. Visitors can meet a blacksmith at his workshop, a sweet seller and also housewives cooking. There will also be sausage rolls, mince pies, raffle and craft stalls. There will be fires in the heritage building as well. The event will be held free of cost to show their thankfulness to the community for supporting them. This is a weekend Christmas event that is packed with lots of activities and fun. And hence, must not be given a miss.
