There are many events taking place across the country as a part of national Bike Week celebrated between 9th to 17th June in this year. Bike Week is an annual event to promote cycling and to encourage cyclists how cycling has become part of their everyday’s life. The annual celebration has been delivered by the Cycling UK (trade name of Cyclists’s Touring Club, a registered charity) in association with other partners.
Many events have been organised in North East Lincolnshire also. The events are being coordinated by Love to Ride and conducted in association with ENGIE and North East Lincolnshire Council and include Dr Bike sessions, discounted service for cycles etc.
It is a great opportunity to have a cycle ride to work or just for a funny ride to enjoy in the area. Cycling is a great exercise which will improve one’s health as well as reduce the traffic and pollution in the environment. In the UK around 5m people are taking cycle to work more than thrice a week. You can also find fun and enjoy the fresh open air while cycling.
