Free book to those at reading event for World Book Night

The Malvern library at the Graham Road, will be hosting a reading clinic on 23 April, Wednesday, commencing at noon. The clinic aimed at encouraging non-readers to pick up a book, is a joint venture with a the town’s Job Centre.

The participants at the clinic would get a free book. The event is part of World Book Night and books gifted are top titles, listed specially for the session. The reading clinic aims to promote reading to the 35% of people who don’t read regularly. The Job Centre ‘s Peter Kannard says any lapsed reader, or one who doesn’t find time, or a non-reader, can discover why reading is worthwhile, beneficial and a positive activity, through this event.
