The Three Rivers District Council will be hosting a range of free events later in the month. It is for supporting the Love Parks Week. The events will be held in parks and open spaces. The council will be hosting storytelling sessions outdoors, under ‘Storytent’ initiative led by Katheryn Holt. The event, a drop-in activity, is on 27th July (Monday), at The Aquadrome (Forgmoor Lane), from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Again, on 28th July (Tuesday), it will be in Carpenders Park’s Greenfields Avenue play area, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. There will be nature-inspired activities in arts and crafts, and other free events. A family-friendly photography walk will be led by Pete Stevens the professional photographer, with experienced help of grounds guide, around Chorleywood House Estate. Learn to take great pictures on your smartphone, digital camera or your tablet, with useful tips on lighting, composing and resolution.
