People living the Stoke-on Trent region has been offered counselling totally free of charge, on how they can manage to cut down on their electricity bills.
Over a thirty thousand households in the Stoke-on-Trent locality are said to be reeling under exorbitant charges of energy bills.
Currently the charity of National Energy Action has joined hands with E.On, the firm that supplies electricity to provide workshops for the unemployed people at absolutely no charge.
The great thing is that people who participate in the programmes can also avail of a certification from City and Guilds.
One of the participants, the forty seven year old Michael Williams, hailing from Hanley was offered employment at the University of Staffordshire after he had participated in the training sessions.
He was heard to have stated that participating in the training sessions had assisted him in becoming proficient in some new abilities that he could in fact make use of. He said that he was also able to get further information regarding these sorts of jobs that were available in the industry related to energy.
