Milton Keynes is one of UK’s most iconic locations, nestled in southern England, and it is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year. An official free event for the MK50 year long celebration, produced by IF: Milton Keynes International Festival, called Feast of Fire, will be celebrated on 21st October, Saturday, at Milton Keynes (MK), with the city streets being lit up by fire displays. Find here fireworks and pyrotechnics, including fire sculptures, besides live music and performances and also The People’s Procession.

The Feast of Fire, commissioned by City Club, is created by Walk the Plank, the outdoor arts experts, in collaboration with people and artists of MK. It opens with ‘Spellbound’, which is a big family show which tells a story, through shadow play, of Rama and Sita, using fire and special effects, marking the Festival of Lights – Diwali. The People’s Procession will have 250 citizens from Milton Keynes, from all ages, backgrounds and communities, to lead the audiences, carrying flaming torches, through Midsummer Boulevard (East).

The Point Car Park will have Mr. Wilson’s Second Liners band here at the joyous party, playing live New Orleans Jazz style dance tunes, on a fiery stage. Against a backdrop of fire drawings, a DJ will perform his show. The free event comes to a close with spectacular fireworks and a flaming finale.
