Free Gas to Motorists UKWith petrol pumps not functioning correctly, it has been noticed that motorists in the UK have been getting free petrol.

Following motor drivers’ grievances that they have not been getting the fuel they deserve for the money they were paying, the Automobile Association has been conducting tests at petrol pumps and it has been found that the motorists have instead been getting plenty of free fuel.

In the place of finding that the vehicle drivers had not been receiving what they had paid for, it was disclosed as per the AA tests that motorists have on an average really been getting 4.4 % of excess fuel than what they had been paying for. According to the Automobile Association, the officers from Trading Standards revealed that in a couple of instances the petrol pumps were giving away 6 pence a litre of added fuel totally free.

Well, so that’s that and all because some real dumb people decided to make a complaint.

Edmund King, the President of AA stated that a few drivers benefited from a sort of lucky dip in the petrol pumps by availing of more gas than what they had paid for. Nevertheless as anticipated, there are some motorists who are keeping a vigilant eye on their gauges.

In fact it was good that some fortunate motorists had been receiving free fuel as it has been exorbitantly over charged in the United Kingdom. In the current year the prices of fuel touch a record level and with the fact that practically everyone is struggling to make both ends meet, the government had to bow down to the pressures from the public and set aside a planned 3 pence increase in petrol prices for a litre.
