Freedom Leisure Centre has organised for Family Open Weekend on Saturday – January 12 & Sunday – January 13, 2019. The open weekend will run from 8 am to 5 pm. The centre is located at Hoskins Rd, Oxted RH8 9HT.
The centre has been taken over by a new management during May. The Leisure centre has been transformed fully with many new facilities along with Tandridge District Council. The centre was inaugurated by the leader of Tandridge District Council – Martin Fisher on 3rd January and many key persons were present at the ceremony.
The old building was totally modernised with new gym equipment and two new studio rooms. There is a Costa Coffee cafe open in the building’s reception area.
The centre is offering open family weekend to attract more local residents to stay fit and healthy. There will be a fun weekend with bouncy castle, ball pit, Children’s entertainer, cafe offer, tours of new facilities, gym challenges with prizes, swimming for £1, membership offers with no joining fee and special appearance by the centre’s mascot Jim Trainer. There will also be taster sessions of exercise group and gym classes in new facilities both require pre booking.
Chris O’Neill – Centre Manager said that they are not only having the best fitness facilities in the location, but also there will be more stations, space and classes. The centre is coming up with Christmas/ New Year membership offers to help the residents to stay fit. The visitors will for sure get excited if they see the facilities.
