Merry Hill shopping centre is gearing up for the half-term and some of the sessions and activities being organised for kids include workshops, face-painting, character appearances and craft sessions. From 16th February, Monday, right through to 21st February, Saturday, this Brierley Hill shopping centre in West Midlands, is all set to entertain little ones. To kick-off the free events, a cookie decorating workshop will be held on Monday, where little ones can have their own treat. On Tuesday, there is foodie fun honouring Shrove Tuesday, with a free pancake decorating workshop. On Wednesday, there will be face-painting and glitter tattoos. On Thursday, there will be the popular cup-cake deccorating workshop. Friday will see themed and interactive workshops featuring a range of creative and crafts sessions, in anticipation of the weekend (Saturday) visit of character ‘Tree Fu Tom’ to the shopping centre, with a story telling session also.
Running all week will be adventure themed workshops, to celebrate the animated adventure Home from Dreamworks, to be released across UK cinemas on 20th February. Kids can make their own alien craft on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. They can decorate their own alien masks on Tuesday and Thursday. Parents can collect free tickets from the customer service from Monday for the sessions, while it’s available.
