The Food Matters Live event will be hosted from 12nd to 14th November in the exhibition and convention centre ExCeL, in Newham, London. The festival of Food Matters Live is one of the biggest cross-sector event that focuses on the relationship between food, health and nutrition. The event is increasingly becoming a business and networking event that showcases the country’s and international results seen in product developments and innovation by experts, retailers, wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, ingredient suppliers and others.
A 3-day education programme here will have the key theme as sustainability. It will explore the need for society to change food consumption patterns to a more sustainable model and the impact of testing on consumer safety and confidence. A multi-stream seminar programme here offers opportunity to get practical advice from over 300 cross-sector experts on diverse subjects. Simon Jack, Anita Anand and Jonathan Dimbleby, the BBC penetrators, will chair the conference, to keep focus on the debate and analysis.
The Food Matters Live event will be featuring more than 600 organisations and 15,000 professionals are expected to attend. Leading suppliers too will be participating. The event will also feature the Food Matters Live Research Pavilion, the Drink-Well zone, Free-from zone, Reading University, University of Nottingham, Nottingham Trent University, live demonstrations and many other activities and pavilions.
