Cambridge will be hosting events covering all aspects of science in a city-wide celebration, the Cambridge Science Festival. The events starting this weekend, are for all ages and includes hands-on sessions, drop-in sessions and free lectures. The festival focuses on increasing our understanding of the world through the vast data we generate and collect. Everyone is invited to explore and discuss science through performances, interactive activities, talks, tours and films.
In the coming weekend of the Cambridge Science Festival, a lot of events will be held on the 12th and 13th March, in the centre of Cambridge. There will be drop-in sessions throughout the day at the David Attenborough Building and the Guildhall. A number of events have been lined up from the 14th to 18th March, over the second week of the festival. The Cambridge Science Festival of this year promises to inspire visitors and ignite curiosity through exciting discoveries of science.
Science Festival Co-ordinator, Lucinda Spokes, said the Science Festival’s 22nd year has a spectacular programme of events. The Festival is looking forward to have events across the city centre so as to get as many visitors and residents involved as possible, she added.
