Enjoy free events at the end of August, as the Riviera Fringe Festival is back in Torquay, England, hosting attractions and non-stop entertainment for the whole family. The Princess Gardens will be hosting on 29th August, Saturday, a free event of family fun. It starts from 10:30am. Included is a Kidz Talent show endorsed by Basil Brush, at 11:00am. There’s magic, comedy, competitions, workshops, singers, dancers, pirates plus stalls, swingboats and many more, right from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. This will be followed by local bands, vocalists and the headline act- Lionstar. In the evening there’s comedy by Britain’s Got Talent star- Danny Posthill and also Arnold Gutbucket.
The Riviera Fringe Film Festival also runs on Saturday, at Torbay Hotel, and will be showing independent films. A varied selection of award-winning films and film-makers will be brought in by the organisers. On Sunday, there’s the ‘everything well being’ hosted at Torbay Hotel. Find sessions on- children’s books, health and beauty, palmists, alternative therapies, plus tasters and talks, and also a dance workshop. Or meet Iron Mike Mitchell, former Mr.Universe. Babbacombe and St.Marychurch Rotary Club will provide families with more entertainment, attractions and stalls for free. There’s something for everyone at the the 2 main stages of this free event.
