Connected Growth, a free workshop is conducted by CISCO and ideaSpace, on April 23rd. The free workshop will identify how funding frameworks and programmes are focused to support public and private investment for digital connected growth. It will hope to find answer to several question relation to digital connected growth. During this workshop, SMEs can learn about RAPTOR project. The project is intends to create digital ecosystem of SMEs building urban applications on a secure platform creating new value chains from industry, government and SMEs to people. It will also include Cisco Big Innovation Prize and a grants programme.

Connectivity and Digital Growth are important aspects of growth in the UK. At present the UK Councils and Local Economic Partnerships are making conscious efforts to develop Public Sector Networks and allocating Next Generation Networks fundings. Broadband UK and private sector investments will deliver economic benefits and enhances efficiencies in the public sector. The effect of these programmes and frameworks on East of England is the main topic for discussion.
