Residents of Cheshire will be enjoying a bonanza of free tickets to the some of the best tourist attractions in the region. It is part of the English Tourism Week, a week long celebration being held from 25th March to 2nd April this year. A Cheshire Residents Festival has been organised by Cheshire East and West Councils, along with Marketing Cheshire, which is way to thank people of Cheshire for their hospitality to the region’s 48 million visitors.
Many of Cheshire’s biggest attractions are offering free opportunities for a whole week. Tatton Park Gardens, Cholmondeley Castle Gardens and Adlington Hall and Gardens, are all offering free entry to to British seasonal planting and landscaping event. Reaseheath Zoo and RSPB Burton Mere are offering wildlife lovers a great chance. Crewe Lyceum is offering performances for free. So are Port Sunlight Museum and Storyhouse joining in. Some 250 free tickets are being offered by Jordell Bank to their discovery centre.
Chief Executive Katrina Michel of Marketing Cheshire, said they are encouraging resident to become tourists to celebrate English Tourism week. Residents of Cheshire get the opportunity to become ambassadors of the county by giving them a taste of all the county has to offer and discover attractions at their doorstep, she added.
