This August will see Camborne hosting again ‘Fun Fridays’, to bring a variety of free events on the streets. Performers of all types, like clowns, jazz bands, mime artists and more will be at the town centre on Fridays of this August, from the 1st to the 29th of August.
Hotch Potch Performance is the team behind the performance Ka Dunk A Junk, which will be performing over the whole month. Mime artists, clowns and jazz musicians will entertain all people visiting and shopping here. BID Camborne, Camborne Regeneration Forum, Camborne Chamber and councillors of Cornwall, Blankeley and Lewis, have all collaborated to create ‘Fun Fridays’. All the street performers performing on their day will be on the street from 11AM to 3PM. Ross Wheeler who is from Hotch Potch Performance said that it’s really great performing not ever seen in the town centre. BID Camborne’s BID Manager, Mel Martin, remarked that the free events will mix comedy, theatre, music and art to make a great difference this summer.
