Broadcast Video Expo (BVE) is much awaited event by the people in the international broadcast and production industry. By introducing the free seminar programme, the organizers hope to attract more visitors and exhibitors. With 11 theatres conducting over 250 seminars, the BVE free seminar programme is one of the biggest and distinctive events ever in the UK. Earls Court in London will host the event which will run for three days, beginning from 14 February to 16 February. This programme will cover wide and complex topics like future of 3D, new improvements in religious broadcasting and cloud computing. Besides, it will provide practical workshops. Beginners and experienced people in the international broadcast and production community will benefit largely from the programme.
3D Revolution will cover the recent developments and the future of 3D. Founder of Soho post house Framestore, William Sargent, will provide the keynotes. Dave Blackham will carry out discussions about recording caves and wildlife in 3D effects. What’s more, Peter Van Hooke from Panasonic will carry out talks on Elbow concert shot live in 3D.
Post Production Theatre will see Larry Jordan who will offer an overview of Final Cut Pro X. Top Gear Live commercial will also be presented to the visitors. A debate in Post-production will be conducted by the Televisual Magazine. It will give essential guidance on the things a video-grapher should have in their post-production toolkit, how to capture ‘marryoke’ wedding sequences and how videographers should involve themselves with local TV stations.
The program also welcomes Dr John Zubrzycki at BBC Research and Development who will discuss Super Hi-vision for London 2012, and Phil Rutter of AndCubed who will conduct 4K production and delivery debate.
Pieter Schillbeeckx of Soundfield will lead the audio systems. Advice on audio recording will be offered. The impressive panel consisting of Phil Coates, Graham Boswell from SADiE, Jo Tyler of Bournemouth University will make the seminar a good experience for the audience.
An exclusive range of video-based presentations is offered by IOV to a dedicated theatre on Stand K1. Content Delivery Theatre will present a range of diverse topics that will interest one and all. They will include TV and web coverage. Neil Hollingum of Perpertual Solutions will carry out an interesting discussion on Connected Home. James Neufeld of Never.no will discuss about Social TV and the fight for the second screen.
Another highlight of the Broadcast Video Expo (BVE) program is the 1 day sessions that will explore different facets of a specific topic. On 14 February Religious Broadcasting will be discussed and on Wednesday 15 February Demystifying the Cloud will be presented. Brands Becoming Broadcasters is the topic of discussion for Thursday 16 February. All these fascinating discussions and presentations will make the BVE 2012 free seminar programme one of the most memorable and productive events.
