The FitLivingUK fitness festival will be launched on 9th September and 10th September on the Bournemouth beach and at the BIC (Dorset), respectively. With Yoga on the beach, paddle-boarding on the waters and street food along the pier, the organisers say there will be something for everyone. Promising to place Bournemouth, the seaside resort on England’s southern coast, on the lifestyle map, there will be 50 classes to try, a fitness exhibition, plus Zumba, body balance, body pump, boxing, body combat and Crossfit. There will be speakers on healthy living, kids can enjoy gymnastics and mini football, a nutritional village and recipes in the demo kitchen. See the latest in fitness tech and a big variety of health & fitness professionals here.
The BIC will put up a stage for speakers. There will be a place for bloggers and a family zone. Director of sport and leisure at BH Live, Mike Lyons, said this is to be a unique event with spotlight on outstanding health and wellbeing facilities and activities, put to a nationwide audience of pros, beginners and families. Managing director Gemma Harris, of Living Media and Events, is running the event and is creating a show that is completely interactive and demystifying to those scared to jump into fitness and nutrition. A stage will be put up on the pier’s west side to host a holistic and wellbeing tent and displays, plus offer free sessions of massage, yoga and tough fitness on the beach.
