Bournemouth Borough Council’s Early Years Service along with LV= conducted a free pantomime on 13 December (Friday) for children from the council. A performance of Aladdin was also held at the Pavilion Theatre.
The council conducted the free event for the third successive year in a row. Tickets were issued to young carers, Linwood School, Julia’s House, Springbourne Family Centre, foster children and families requiring support from housing and homelessness charity BCHA. The Rotary Clubs of Boscombe, Westbourne and Southbourne provided ice-creams for all the attendees. LV= provided volunteers as well as financial support.
The event was conducted particularly for families who cannot afford to enjoy with a festive spirit. Hence, it was a great start ahead of the Christmas season for many of the children as well as their families.
