Throughout September, Blackpool will be lit up with thousands of fireworks. The World Championships will have pyrotechnic teams from all over the world arriving here to compete, to be crowned as world champions. Tens of thousands of visitors are expected to crowd the Blackpool promenade for the spectacular series of events that will he held in the evenings, over weeks. Each event will begin at 7:30pm and fireworks will start from 8:30pm approximately.

The firework display teams from different countries will also show fireworks synced to music and will be launched close to The Tower Festival Headland, at the North Pier. Additionally, the promenade will be illuminated, beautifully lighting up the prom. To join the fun and watch the incredible displays, people are advised to come early to secure a spot, with some fish and chips handy, at the resort. Visitors are advised to use car parks in the south of the resort and from there get into town using trams, as the roads are expected to be crowded. Or be away from roads completely by coming to Blackpool on train.

All displays at the free event are subject to favourable conditions of a typically ever-changing autumn weather. The free firework displays are being held on all Friday evenings of September, with the celebration display by UK on 29th September and with the winner announcement.
