Birmingham Hippodrome’s Artistic Director and Chief Executive Fiona Allan, said the hugely popular taster event- Dance Sampled, is set to return in spring (2017), with acts and dance throughout the place, with a line-up of local and international talents.
She welcomed the return of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui with a modern explorationof Argentine Tango and Carlos Acosta with his new company Acosta Danza, on its first tour of UK. Fiona Allan also said that they happily welcome back SheriDan Smith (famous as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl).
The Adams Family on its first UK tour is also being staged here, just as Beautiful, on its first UK tour too. The venue will be presenting the free events B-side Hip Hop Festival and Summer in Southside.
