The Big Draw event this year has a theme called ‘Its Our World’, which is a celebration of rural and urban landscapes. People of all ages are welcome on 11th October, Saturday, to the Leamington Art Gallery and Museum, to join artist Julie de Bastion. Visitors can experiment with her help on various techniques found in drawing and print-making. They can draw out their favourite place and print that onto images of Leamington, which all goes into the creation of a stepping stone trail running through the gallery.
Throughout October, the art gallery and museum will be celebrating the Big Draw national campaign. Held will be ‘little-city’, an on-going drawing activity in which families can make their own 3D house and garden. This work would be added to the display.
