With Christmas fast approaching, Apple has launched its annual giveaway- 12 Days of Gifts. So iOS users in UK can again look forward for free content over the 12 day period from 26 December, 2013 to 6 January, 2014.
In what is now an annual seasonal tradition, the app named this year- 12 Days of Gifts, has owners of iPhones, iPads and iPods expecting a surprise gift on each of these days, to be unlocked at the Apple app store, which will only be revealed at the day of the giveaway, and available for only 24 hours. Users can get for free a book, a song, a film or an app to download over the Christmas period. Previous year giveaways included music from Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, One Direction music video, also books by Jo Nesbo and Lee Child.
However users need to have the iOS7 on their Apple device, the version which was released in October, to use the free content gifted. According to Apple, 74% of compatible devices have installed this latest version of the OS that came with the iPhoen 5S and 5C. So go ahead and download the free app and take the gifts.
