The Creative Force is conducting a free taster event for all interested in choir singing for its International Voice Orchestra. The Eastbourne Arts and Events company is holding on 15th January, the free taster session at 5:45pm, in the Venton Centre, on Junction Road, the place the group meets on Fridays.
The choir has completed its first year. International Voice Orchestra is for all with enthusiasm to sing and is not the usual choir. It welcomes anyone aged over 16 years with the desire to sing for the joy of it. It provides a non-judgemental atmosphere, welcoming without any audition. Director of Creative Force, Teri Sayer Cooper, said the choir is for people who want to sing but find it challenging at more formal choirs. The director added that they are fulfilling an aspiration to sing rather than seeking perfection. Donations for sessions are accepted.
