Victoria Park will be all set to host this December, a new Christmas festival, Winterville. The free winter festival will be launched on 2nd December and run till the end of the month. Taking up most of the park, it would be laid out just as a town, complete with its Market Place, Downtown area and Town Square. The festival will be free to enter but has ticketed events too.
Entertainment at the free winter festival will feature a pop-up pantomime, a tent with live music, a mini-nightclub, comedy and cabaret. Featured will be a roller-coaster disco, a Ferris wheel and a covered ice rink. See vintage motorcycle stunts on the Wall of Death and ride on horse-drawn carriages. There will be a circus for kids, a Santa’s Grotto with rides for kids, a Fairy Grotto with rides for adults and many other entertainment events.
